Director and Occupational Therapist
April graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honors) in 2015 from the University of Newcastle, Australia. While studying, April was a support working for children and adults living with a disability since the rollout of the NDIS in 2013. This is where April found her passion of becoming an Occupational Therapist focusing in the disability sector.
April grew up in Wauchope, NSW and spent her adult life moving between Newcastle (NSW), Sydney (NSW) then Gold Coast (QLD). This has allowed developing a varied experience of how the sector operates in different regions.
April has now decided to move back to her hometown to be closer to her loved ones. She has manifested her version of a good life, and her dreams have turned into plans with the opening of On Purpose Therapy.
April has worked in reputable large allied health organisations over the past several years, within senior leadership and management roles. April acts with a sense of curiosity and is committed to self-directed learning, which has granted her experience in many areas of Occupational Therapy practice including skill development and capacity building, functional capacity assessments, home and living assessments, assistive technology and assistance animals.
April loves keeping up to date with the latest NDIS and sector news / updates.
Occupational Therapist
Tatiana graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (2A Honours) in 2024 from James Cook University in Townsville, QLD Australia. Tatiana has worked in the childcare and disability sector since 2018. Tatiana first found her passion for supporting people to increase their quality of life and independence at a young age supporting people from many walks of life on international aid and humanitarian trips.
Tatiana spent her formative years living in South Korea and Australia, and her adult life travelling and exploring many cultures with her family and friends, living in various states and countries. These experiences have provided Tatiana with intercultural competence and flexibility that allow her to communicate and engage with individuals from all walks of life with respect and empathy.
Tatiana has recently moved back to town for the lifestyle and beach as well as to be close to family. With strong values of openmindedness and respect, Tatiana has honed her passions towards a vocation in Occupational Therapies and disability supports that focuses on individuals' wellbeing and quality of life first no matter their age, gender, or lifestyle.
Tatiana is a curious life long learner who is devoted to understanding individuals as unique people in their individual situations. Tatiana has experience in supporting a variety of people to build their capacity, develop new skills, maintain their preferred lifestyles and gain the support they need to live their best lives.

Clair has over 16 years of experience in various Administration and Management roles, in multiple industries.
With a passion for efficiency and gold star customer service, Clair ensures the smooth operation of the business so the Occupational Therapists can do what they do best.
