April provides clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring to other Occupational Therapists located anywhere in Australia.
If you are employed by an organisation who outsources professional development and/or supervision, have a caseload primarily of supporting adults, and are seeking a supervisor, we may be able to assist!
Areas of Interest
- Assessing functional capacity across all areas of self-care, self-management, mobility, learning, communication and social functioning.
- Identifying support needs and ratios of support (drop in support, Supported Independent Living, Individual Living Options)
- Housing assessments (exploring mainstream and disability specific accommodation options such as Specialised Disability Accommodation)
- Therapy planning
- Assessing and identifying persons full potential in life
- Preparing succinct written reports in line with NDIS terminology and criteria
- Forensic
- Person centered active support model
Experience
April has a history of supporting graduates through to advanced clinicans over the past few years in NDIS specific roles.
The frequency and length of supervision sessions will be guided by you. Support will be provided using video conferencing (Microsoft Teams).
